Art Linkletter died Wednesday

Much to my sadness I heard that Art Linkletter, the famous and funny TV host of "People Are Funny" and "House Party" in the 1950s and '60s, passed away on Wednesday, May 26th 2010.

"Because of Art Linkletter, adults found themselves enjoying children," said Bill Cosby. "An amazing fellow, a terrific broadcast talent, a brilliant businessman. An all-around good guy," said Larry King about Art Linkletter.

"Art Linkletter's House Party," was one of the favorite television variety shows, and was aired on CBS-TV from 1952 to 1969.

My deepest sympathy is hereby extended to the family of Mr. Art Linkletter. He will be missed forever.
